Terms of Use

This is a translation of the Hebrew terms. If the two differ, the Hebrew version prevails.

Acceptance of the terms

Using "Shopping List" means you accept these terms. If you don’t agree to them, please don’t use the service.

Minimum age

The service is intended for users aged 16 and over. Anyone under 16 may not use it.

The service

The service lets you create and manage shared shopping lists, including sharing a list with other users and sorting items by supermarket aisle with AI. Lists are stored on the device. A shared list is also stored on our server to sync it between members. A list that isn’t shared isn’t backed up: if the app is deleted or the device is lost, it’s lost too. The service is free and supported by ads.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content you add to lists.
• Don’t use the service for any unlawful or abusive purpose.

Sharing lists

A list can be shared between several users with different roles — owner, editor, viewer. A list’s owner can invite and remove members and delete the whole list (someone invited by tag or username joins only after accepting), and is responsible for choosing whom to share it with. Anyone who gets an invite link can join the list until the link expires (7 days) or is canceled, so only send it to people you mean to.

Ads

Sorting a list by aisle is available after watching a short ad in full. A banner ad is also shown at the bottom of the lists screen and of a list in edit mode (not in shop mode). Ads are shown by Google AdMob; their content is the advertisers’ responsibility, not ours. Sorting isn’t available without an internet connection.

Aisle sorting limit

A list can be sorted by aisle up to 5 times a day per account and per device. The number of sorts from one network address is limited too. The count resets at midnight Israel time. Deleting your account and opening a new one on the same device doesn’t reset it. A sort that fails on our side isn’t counted. We may change the limit at any time.

Intellectual property

The app’s design, code and brand belong to the service’s operators. The content of the lists you create remains yours.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for data loss, indirect damage, or interruptions in the service’s availability.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms.

Changing or discontinuing the service

We reserve the right to change, limit, suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part (including sorting by aisle and sharing), and to shut down the app, at any time, temporarily or permanently, at our sole discretion, without prior notice and without liability to you or any third party. When the service shuts down, the information stored on the server will be deleted, and lists on the device will no longer sync or be shared. Don’t rely on the service as the only place you keep important information.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
